Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
- Your account email and business details (business name, trade, logo, colours).
- Your price book entries — the items, units and rates you enter.
- Voice recordings you make in the app, and the transcripts of them.
- The estimates RenoLog generates, including customer names and addresses you put in a quote.
2. How it's used
Solely to provide the service to your account: transcribing what you said, pricing it from your rates, producing your PDFs, and keeping your quote history. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
3. AI processing
Your voice recordings are transcribed by a third-party AI transcription service, and the resulting transcript is processed by a third-party AI service to pull out the line items you described. This data is not used to train AI models, and it isn't shared beyond the processors needed to run the service.
4. Your price book is private
It's yours. Your price book is private to your account, never shared, and never used to price anyone else's quotes.
5. Processors
- Hosting and database — stores your account, price book, quotes and recordings.
- Email delivery — receives your email address to send confirmation and account emails.
- AI transcription and extraction — receives the audio and transcript of a recording to turn it into line items.
6. Share links
When you approve an estimate, RenoLog creates a private share link. Anyone holding that link can view the customer copy of that estimate. Internal figures — your cost, overhead and margin — are never included in a shared copy.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active so your history stays available. We delete it on request, or after 12 months of account inactivity. To request deletion or a copy of your data, email philip.marcarian@gmail.com.
8. Canadian privacy law
RenoLog is operated from Ontario, Canada and handles personal information in line with PIPEDA. RenoLog is the organization responsible for the information described here. For any privacy question, access request or complaint, contact philip.marcarian@gmail.com.
